Annual Conference of the Sorbonne School of Economics

The Sorbonne School of Economics (formerly the economics departments of the Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne) gathers the three research centers in economics affiliated with Paris 1: the Centre d’Economie de la Sorbonne (CES), Paris Jourdan Sciences Economiques (PjSE), and the center for Philosophy, History and Analysis of Economics Representations (PHARE). They jointly organize the Annual Conference of the Sorbonne School of Economics on Wednesday, October 17, 2018, at the Amphitheater Oury-Gestion de la Sorbonne. The goal of the event is to share with researchers, students and partners from the business sector and the administration, hot topic in economics with particular relevance for the public debate and for policy making. The topic chosen for this year’s conference is “The Economics of Wellbeing and Social Justice”.

Keynote lectures will be delivered by Marc Fleurbaey, Professor of Economics at Princeton University, and by Emmanuel Picavet, Professor of Philosophy at the Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne.
